Update for 55th reunion – Sharon and I have been married for 47 years. We have two sons and five grandchildren. Bret and his family live in Ames with two sons. Mark and his family live in Ankeny with one daughter and two sons. We have lived in Ames all those years. We have been to most states including Alaska and Hawaii. We have been on some cruises including Nova Scotia and the caribbean.

Sharon and I are both retired. Myself from the US Postal Service and Sharon from Iowa State University proposals & grants office. . I currently volunteer two afternoons a week at the Habitat for Humanity Store. Sharon volunteers at church some days. I do some woodworking at home when kids need something made or help. We are just enjoying being retired and enjoying life with family and friends.

Among the places we want to visit is New England…not necessarily visiting the large cities. Our cruise to Nova Scotia piqued our interest in checking out the Northeast from the land side rather than the ocean side. We did have a cruise scheduled to Ireland, but covid caused that to be cancelled. And we also want to see the Biltmore estate in Asheville and a plantation or two in the deep south .

From 50+1 reunion – We live in Ames. I am retired from the U.S. Postal Service and my wife is retired from Iowa State University. We have two married sons and five grandchildren. I am volunteering at Habitat for Humanity and doing some woodworking in my shop. We are just enjoying family, friends, and life.
