Update for 55th reunion – Hi great classmates!!
Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to laugh and remember those fun days of growing up together in simpler times. What a blessing to renew the friendships we shared in our little school. Thank you to each one of you !!
My fantastic wife Pat and I celebrated our golden anniversary last year along with our daughter Shaunda , our son Chris and our 5 grandkids. They sure keep us entertained.
I like to stay busy after retiring from my dental practice by hiking, fishing, canoeing and landscaping our gardens in the country.
We have traveled to many countries in Europe and also to New Zealand, Australia, Costa Rica and the Galápagos Islands. It sure is a big beautiful world. However, there is still “No place like Home“ !! I love the positive values that all of YOU helped shape during our time together at good old Ballard High!
Enjoy Life !! God Bless !!

From 50-1 reunion – God has blessed me in so many ways in my life and I am so thankful! My wonderful wife, Pat and I live in the beautiful Ozarks in Springfield, MO near all the fun things to do in Branson.
Our daughter, Shaunda has given us 2 cute girls and we love to visit their family in Destin, Florida at the beach. Our son, Chris has 3 fun boys that keep us busy out in nature in Arkansas on the lakes.
After 43 years of private practice in dentistry, I retired last year so we have more time to visit family and concentrate on hobbies like fishing, hiking, boating and gardening (yes, I’m still an Iowa farm boy)! Pat and I enjoy traveling to see the world. One of our favorites was Norway, the land of my ancestors. The scenery was fantastic and the people so friendly!
That is also what I remember about Ballard…. good, honest, hardworking people who were very caring for each other. We had a “Wonderful Life” growing up there learning positive values and given opportunities to go for our goals.
Hope you have reached most of yours!
Thank you for your friendship that helped shape my life and yours.
God bless you all!!
