Update for 55th reunion – I have been married to my husband, Raymond for 53 years. We have always lived in Sheldahl but recently built a new house.

We have two children: Travis Harris, 51 and is married to Erin they live in Sheldahl and have two children. Owen (our only grandson) He works for Ihle Construction. Anna who is just finishing cosmetology school and will be working in Slater.

Nicole who is married to Charlie Husak they have 9 girls and lives in Polk City. Emma Harmon who has one child Colton and lives in Madrid with her husband, Blake, they are expecting their 2nd boy in October. Abby Luster is married to Jack, they live in Madrid and expecting their first child (a boy) in November. Ella: she is living in Kansas City where she is going to Kansas City University where she has a full softball scholarship
Alivia, 15, goes to North Polk and plays softball Isabel is 13, goes to North Polk and plays softball Remi, 10 goes to Nirth Polk and plays softball. Sadie, 5 goes to North Polk Lucy, 3 is now the only child still at home. The last 3 girls are half sisters and especially chosen to join the Husak family

We have lived in the same area for almost as long as we have been married, which has been here in Sheldahl. We built a new one level house next to our old one two years ago.. We can see all the trees and bushes we planted without having to take care of them. My very favorite vacations have been riding horses in the Teton mountains and riding mules to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Now we go to the Florida Keys for part of January and all of February . Love to ride our bikes down there and kayak.

From 50+1 reunion – Here’s putting 50 years of marriage and life into a few paragraphs. Raymond and I still live in the same house in Sheldahl that we always have. We are both retired but Raymond drives a school bus for North Polk which he has done since he retired 20 years ago. We like to travel and go to the Florida Keys for a month in the winter, which we love! I love to bike and kayak, belong to a book club and Bible study.

We have 2 children, a son who has our only grandson and a granddaughter. He and his wife just built a new house in Sheldahl. Our daughter and her husband live in Polk City and have 7 daughters, 5 biological, 1 adopted and another one hopefully adopted soon. We are so blessed to have so many grandchildren and they all live so close. We play a big part in our grandchildren’s life. Going to ball games and helping with child care since our daughter’s girls range in age from the oldest who is 21 and married and lives in Madrid to the youngest who is 20 months

Wish I could have made it to the reunion but we had prior commitments. Hope everyone is doing well and hope to see you at the next reunion!
