Update for 55th reunion – Gene and I have been married 56 years this Sept 27 and have 3 children: Nic (Melanie), Michelle (Steve) and Stacy (Keith). We have four grandkids: Ashton 21 going to Upper Iowa to play basketball, Alexa 20 attending dental hygienist school, Jason 19 playing baseball for Iowa Lakes College and Kyle, 16 a junior at Ballard High. We are lucky to have them all live close so we see them often.

My hobbies are working in my yard and flower gardens, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Looking forward to more adventures with my hubby.

From 50+1 reunion – Gene and I have been married 52 years and have three children: Stacy, Michelle, and Nic and four grandchildren: Ashton-17, Alexa-16, Jaxon-15, Kya-12. We have lived in Huxley in the same house since 1976.

Gene retired from Dan Foss after 40 years in 2014 and I retired in 2016 from Mary Greeley Hospital after 26 years. We have done some traveling and watching our grandkids grow up and attending their activities. Ashton is a senior this year and is very active in sports, especially basketball. We are hoping the team can go to state again this year. Alexa is a junior at Southeast Polk and dances for school dance team-Rhythametts. Jaxon is a sophomore and our baseball player. He had heart surgery in February with some complications so didn’t get to play this year. He hopes to play next year. Kya is a 7th grader and our runner. She wants to run in track and cross country.

We survived the derecho and COVID so we feel good about that. That is my life in a nutshell which has been a great one. Looking forward to more adventures.
