Denny McCauley
Des Moines, IA

Since graduating in the spring of 1970 from Ballard High School one of the first things that happened to me was that I got my draft notice in September 1970 from the draft board to serve in the U.S. Army and served two years. I was discharged in 1972 and went to college for awhile till I left to join the workforce to earn some money.

I married in 1977 to my wife Donna and we have two sons, Sean who lives in Evansville, IN and Matt who lives in West Des Moines. We also have three grandkids who live too far away in Evansville.

I have worked for a few different companies and also have owned my own company. I have spent the majority of my working life in the industrial machine tool industry except for the last 10 years where I worked as a regional sales manager for an agricultural implement manufacturer traveling all over our country.

We lived in Ankeny until our kids graduated from schools and then downsized to a condo in Des Moines. I retired in late 2019 and am enjoying every minute of it. Looking forward to seeing everyone in September.

Thanks,

Denny

Note: One of the pictures I attached has a guy with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, that’s me. (I quit 38 years ago.)
